Oh no. What browser are you playing this in? It's currently working for me, and others in Chrome.
Oh ok, I see you're using the itch.io client. This was developed to work in browser as HTML5. I tried launching it in the itch client and can confirm it doesn't work there. Thanks for the bug report!
I've made another build that you can now download as a .exe file. That should work locally. :)
